El cumple de la bebe lo ibamos a celebrar en "Summer Farms", una granja donde la gente va a ver corridas de marranitos, y la gente compra calabazas para adornar las casas etc. Era un plan de nuestra Javura. En el camino nos tropezamos con un trancón terrible, donde estuvimos atascados por dos horas en Georgetown y en últimas decidimos dar vuelta atrás, e ir a comprarle un ponqué a la bebe y celebrarle su cumple, aunque fueramos solo nosotros. Igual así lo habíamos hecho con Isabellita en su primer año, con la diferencia que estabamos en Orlando. Feliz Dia Mi Amor!
On her birthday we were supposed to go to "Summer Farms" to hang out with our Havurah and pick up some pumpkins and what the hey! Watch a pigs race; but instead we got a TWO HOURS traffic in Georgetown due to the Marine Corps Marathon. We decided to just go to Whole Foods buy a little cake for my baby and celebrate her first birthday, even though that meant only the four of us! Anyway, it was just like way that we celebrated Isabellita's first b-day, with the small difference, we were in Orlando. Happy B-day My Love!
Celebración es celebración y para nosotros es muy importante hacerle saber a la persona que es importante. For us a celebration is what makes a birthday important. We don't think a gift is important, we think the aknowledgement of the birthday is what makes it important.
